Sagip Kapamilya received the Anvil Award of Mrit in the category Specialized Public Relations Programs - Crisis Risk Communications at the 49th Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines held at the Solaire Resort & Casino on February 26.

The award was given to Sagip Kapamilya for its "effective use of media in generating enthusiastic support from kindhearted countrymen in a short period of time" during its Typhoon Pablo relief and early recovery operations.

This is Sagip Kapamilya's third Anvil. Sagip won the Anvil Award of Excellence in 2011 for its Typhoon Ondoy relief operations, and in 2013 for its Habagat relief efforts.
