ABS-CBN Foundation- Sagip Kapamilya will launch its 15^th anniversary song, “Darating Kayo”, this Sunday, November 24, 2019, on G Diaries. Bamboo Mañalac, known as the Prince of Philippine Rock, will bring the song to life, dedicated to all the volunteers of the emergency humanitarian program.

The song “Darating Kayo” is the story of relief operation officers and volunteers of Sagip Kapamilya. Their commitment to always be ready to serve has built the Filipinos’ trust that when calamities strike, ABS-CBN Fondation- Sagip Kapamilya will be there.

“It’s very inspiring, especially nung sinabi sa akin na yung kanta ay ginawa inspired by the people who are on the ground during the past years of Sagip… It is about doing something that is bigger than a sort of a track I do,” the artist shared.

Bamboo is known for his chart-topping songs Noypi, Hallelujah, and Taksulok, which emanate patriotism, justice, and equality. He is more than a singer. He is an artist that uses music as a platform to raise awareness and to convey a strong message to the general public.

Jen Chan, writer and composer of the song, shared that Bamboo was her top choice during the process of creating the track. With his influence and impact in the music industry, there is no doubt that Bamboo is indeed the best pick.
