In celebration of the 20 years of Bantay Bata, a charity dinner presented by the ABS-CBN Foundation International (AFI) was held on April 13, 2017 at the Hilton Hotel in Burlingame, California. Hosted by Ms. Ginger Conejero of TFC,  the program opened with welcome remarks by AFi Managing Director, Jerry Bennet and an AVI  presentation and speech by ALKFI Managing Director, Susan Bautista-Afan. Star Magic Star celebrity Jodi Sta Maria gave a brief talk about her involvement in the advocacy  after a song number by Janella Salvador. AFI Community Ambassador, Noriel Adricula spoke about his involvement in the advocacy and performed with the the Bantay Bata Voices, a San Jose based children's choir that he founded to create awareness in the children’s equal rights and support the projects of Bantay Bata. 

With the generous support of guests, sponsors and donors, the event was a success. 100% of the proceeds will go to Bantay Bata.
