“You know what’s better than Mobile Legends? Cleaning our country!”, said 12-year old young ambassador of Pasig River, Jose Faber Cabrera.

Faber, a young advocate of Ilog Pasig for five years now, once again paid a visit to ABS-CBN Foundation to donate to Bantay Kalikasan’s Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig(KBPIP) project.

He is selling eco-bags which he crafted out of flour sacks. Proceeds of these eco-bags will go to the environmental advocacies he supports.

“Gusto ko malinis ang ilog, kaya gumagawa at nagbebenta ako ng bags para maka-donate.” (I want our rivers clean, that’s why I’m selling eco bags), he added.

Faber encourages other children to do something significant while they are young and able. To date, Bantay Kalikasan’s Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig, together with partners, has rehabilitated a total of 23 esteros.
