SEA VIP's Community Reef Monitoring Kickoff
SEA Institute - Verde Island Passage partnered with De La Salle University, California Academy of Sciences and PUSOD, Inc. to kickoff a two year community reef monitoring project in the Verde Island Passage. On March 11-14, workshops and training sessions were held in the municipalities of Tingloy and Mabini in Batangas to teach coastal communities effective and safe techniques to monitor the health of their coral reefs.
