Cliché as it may be, education will always be the passport towards advancement; towards success; towards a better future. It will always be a tool for development of every individual and nation and no one should be deprived of having it.

Yearly, ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation’s child welfare program, Bantay Bata 163 through its project , Bantay Edukasyon with the support of its partners and donors held an Opening Assembly for its 435 scholars (104 Manila based scholars) this school year 2017-2018. These scholars came from families who needs support and assistance in order to continue in pursuing their dreams despite of their current situation in life.

Aside from the financial assistance, scholars with smile on their faces, received school suppies, school shoes, slippers, free food from McDonald's and certificate of scholarship.

Present on the event are the Philippine Soong Chong Ling Foundation, Chinese Filipino Business Club, Gibi Shoes and Riser Inc. who are very amused and in high spirits seeing all the scholars while unleashing their talents on singing, dancing and performing spoken word poetry.

Bantay Bata 163 is certain that for as long as Bantay Edukasyon project continues to be a steward for the education, the infinite assistance of its generous donors and partners will constantly be of help in creating a better world for the Filipino children.

Thank you, Kapamilya!
