JP Morgan's Repainting and Nursery Activity
130 employees of JP Morgan Chase & Co. spent their Saturday in La Mesa Eco Park instead of staying at home after their shift at work as they did a repainting and nursery activity in La Mesa Eco Park.
Half of the group painted the pillars of the Eco Park’s Pavilion, the walls of Pangasiwaan and Eco Academy’s. The other half went to the watershed to plant germinated seeds that will soon be planted along the vicinity.
Repainting the structures of Eco Park is more than for aesthetics. From pleasing the eyes of the visitors so they will come back to enjoy the recreational activities in which they also learn environmental awareness, profit is earned and it leads to giving back to the communities that Bantay Kalikasan is helping.
