Bantay Bata 163 conducts community outreach in Tondo
ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation's child welfare program, Bantay Bata 163, together with Johnson and Johnson Philippines and DZMM, reached families residing in Tondo, Manila through its community outreach project at Delpan Sports Complex.
A total of 300 families received different services like medical and dental check-ups, haircut, massage, different livelihood seminars, children's activities, and mobile classroom storytelling. They also received loot bags, toys, meals, and family packages from Johnson and Johnson’s products.
"Ang misyon ng Johnson and Johnson na lahat ng bata sa buong mundo ay mabigyan ng kalinga. We want our employees and everyone na hindi lang magtrabaho kung hindi magbigay rin o mag-give back sa community natin." (Johnson and Johnson Philippines' mission is to give love and care to our Filipino children nationwide. We want our employees and everyone not just to work but to give back to our communities,) shared by Treasured Rose Lim, Accountant – Global Services of Johnson and Johnson.
This is the culmination of the Bantay Bata 163's partnership with Johnson and Johnson’s. During the program's 20th year, Johnson and Johnson committed to support them by creating the campaign "For the Love of Children" – an online donation facility which started in November 2017 that funded Bantay Bata 163’s community outreach projects.
As another year unfolds, we hope that more people and corporation like Johnson and Johnson will help us in loving and protecting our children. You may visit our website www.bantaybata163.com or call hotline 1-6-3 for more details on how you can help.
Together, we can do more. Thank you, Kapamilya!
