ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation’s child protection program, Bantay Bata 163 recently held Bantay Edukasyon’s Closing Assembly. The closing assembly is an annual event that culminates all the hard work performed by the scholars of Bantay Edukasyon for the academic year.

The event, with the theme “#ChallengeAccomplished”, paid tribute to the scholars who are about to graduate this year. Also, it was an occasion to acknowledge the scholars, from elementary to college, who did well in their studies. Every year, scholars, parents, and donors attend the event to have a simple get together. The meeting also becomes a venue for the scholars to show their talents and to take time to bond and thank the donors.

Dream big! All the struggles and all the things you go through will help you pursue all of your dreams.” shared Merlie Hoffarber, president of Flops for Flips and also a donor of Bantay Bata 163. Ms. Hoffarber also gave her graduation present to all the graduating students from elementary to college.

Ma. Erika Zamora, awarded as the Most Outstanding Scholar of the year, also received an Ipad from Fiesta Mo Sa Florida.  She shared, “Maraming salamat po sa sponsors at Bantay Bata 163. Nawa’y pagpalain po kayo ng Diyos, gabayan kayo at hindi kayo magsawa tumulong sa ibang tao. Manatili po kayo, yung puso niyo, na mapagbigay. Hindi man po sapat yung mga salita kong salamat, babalik ko na lang po yun through hardwork and diploma someday.”(Thank you so much, sponsors and Bantay Bata 163.
